Obama to feature in Coldplay's new album

President Obama will be on the new Coldplay album, according to OK magazine.

The Brit band will feature the President of the United States on A Head Full of Dreams, which is set for release on December 4.

Featuring guest vocals from Beyonce and Noel Gallagher, and a track featuring Barack Obama, the album will certainly have people talking.

Back in June of this year, President Obama was filmed singing Amazing Grace at the funeral of Reverend Clementa Pinckney, who was tragically killed in South Carolina.

Coldplay are said to be so inspired by the rendition that they will be sampling it on A Head Full of Dreams.

“We have a tiny clip of the President singing ‘Amazing Grace’ at that church.

“Because of the historical significance of what he did and also that song being about, ‘I’m lost but now I’m found,” the frontman said.

A source close to the band said it wasn’t easy to get permission to use the clip of Obama singing.

“Barack Obama wouldn’t let just anyone feature his vocals on the record, especially considering what a deeply emotional moment it was for him.”

Adding that Obama “clearly love Coldplay and is happy to be a part of their music history”. We can’t wait to hear it!
