#DasukiGate -Linda Ikeji reacts to accusation, Social media kicks too.

Linda Ikeji has hit back at accusers who say she illegally took money from Government officials.
The popular blogger dismissed rumours to the contrary saying she could never partake in illegal deals linked to funds meant for the purchase of weapons.
“… No party registered or unregistered, no human being dead or alive gave me N240m for anything,” she tweeted.
“Anyway, all these bad belle people looking for ways to bring a woman down…like I always say…you can’t,” she added.
An unconfirmed report was on Monday December 14, 2015 shared online by prominent commentator cum columnist Kayode Olumide Ogundamisi. He said “a popular female blogger” received N240m from Dudafa Waripamo, Special Assistant to the former President on Domestic Affairs.
Female bloggers in the country don’t come more popular than Nigeria’s biggest blogger, Linda Ikeji and the fact that she appears to be making bucket loads of clash via “just aggregating news” and selling paid ads immediately made her the first suspect as far as Nigerian social media was concerned.

“When i told folks that u can’t blog your way to such wealth when u nor be CNN they laughed it off. Well now we know the “how” Linda Ikeji” another tweeter stressed”.
More revelations continue to spring up daily on how the money meant for the security of the country was allegedly laundered as controversial socialite and daughter of former Oyo State Governor, Kemi Olunloyo a.k.a Snitchlady has come out to reveal more shocking details indicting Linda the more.
She took to twitter alleging that:
Kemi further alleged Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, organized a conference meant for bloggers during the 2015 Presidential campaign. She said she was there with Linda and that the PDP bloggers were to receive N200, 000 and a gold plated iphone with a logo, as a thank you gift.
According to her, instead of N200,000, Linda received N240 million. Hmmm, does anyone smell jealousy at play here?
“I hope Linda Ikeji proves me WRONG bcos if I have to tell the story Dudafa allegedly paid her to KILL, the Internet will break!” Kemi added.
In a related development, Linda took to the same platform to refute the claims stressing that she didn’t receive any N240 million from any political party or individual.
Of course, she denied the allegations, dismissing it as the antics of her “haters,” trying to bring down a hard-working woman.
“So, social commentator and activist Kayode Ogundamisi tweeted this today…he didn’t mention any names but I am now trending on Twitter. Many assume he’s talking about me…and you can’t blame them really. He said…popular! I’m somewhat popular! He said female.. I’m female…duh! Lol. He said Lagos…I live in Lagos…in a posh place called Banana Island..lol. #Flipsweave! #Just teasing!
“But seriously for the record…no party registered or unregistered, no human being dead or alive gave me N240m for anything. The only advert I did for PDP was a page background take-over for former president Jonathan… and they asked for the space after I did a page background take-over for APC’s Akinwunmi Ambode. (I’m sure you all saw it). The two parties paid me same amount. I had a politics advert rate which I sent to everyone who wanted to advertise on LIB! And it was a few millions …which some of you followed to chop inside in the giveaway that April…lol. #Kidding!
“Anyway, all these bad belle people looking for ways to bring a woman down…like I always say…you can’t! Except you’re mightier than God! Whether you like it or not, I’m a hardworkingyoung woman who God chose to bless the work of her hand and is using me to bless others”
Blogger and social media commentator JJ Omojua also threw his weight behind linda ikeji;

If the story turns out to be true though, it will dramatically alter the perception of the blogging profession in Nigeria, Linda’s status as a female role-model, and will possibly influence the ongoing #AntiSocialMediaBill conversation.
