Presidency tells Nigerians not to worry about PMB's health

The presidency has assured Nigerians that there was nothing to worry over the health condition of President Muhammadu Buhari as he proceeds on a medical trip abroad.

President Buhari departed Abuja Thursday for the United Kingdom (UK) where he is expected to seek medical attention in a period of his 10-days annual leave which begins Monday next week

El Chapo extradited to the US

Mexico’s most notorious drug cartel leader, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, was extradited to the United States on Thursday to face drug trafficking and other charges, authorities said.

Officials said Guzman was handed over to U.S. authorities at the Ciudad Juarez International Airport, a Mexican city that shares the border with the U.S. state of Texas. His hand over comes just hours before Donald Trump assumes the office of the President of the United States.

Melania 'ignores Donald Trump at Inauguration'

According to UK Mirror, the awkward moment happened today at a luncheon kicking off his inauguration.He began his remarks by thanking his wife, Melania, who he said had “put up with so much with all the fake news. Fake news, that’s what it is.”

Russia has hit back at the United States saying allegations by U.S Intelligence officials (Read here) that it influenced the U.S Presidential elections to favor Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton are 'unfounded' and a 'full scale witch hunt' by the president Obama led U.S government.

The report, published by the Office of the Director of U.S Intelligence last week, accused Putin of directly influencing the elections by hacking Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta and leaking information obtained to Wikileaks.
